Contrary to reports, it was not a sangeet ceremony and their close family members declined to share any information about the function that started around 8:30 pm and wrapped up at midnight.
Vidya's elder sister Priya told the media persons that the wedding would be on December 14 and the couple would be happy with their blessings and best wishes.
Members of her family from South India arrived in a big bus that the actress had arranged for their commute. and they were also given special souvenirs on their way back.
Vidya wanted to keep it a quiet affair, so much so that she tried evading the media when she arrived, hiding in another car. However, she agreed to pose with Siddharth for the pictures as the waiting mediapersons insisted when she was leaving.
